Forged Method ("we," "us," or "our") operates a text-based decision support service for early-career professionals. Users send a description of a real workplace situation via SMS and receive a single, directive response grounded in operational experience and biblical wisdom. We may also send occasional broadcast content via SMS. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
1. Information We Collect
When you use Forged Method, we collect:
Your mobile phone number
The content of messages you send us, including any details you choose to share about your situation, workplace, or the people involved
Basic delivery and usage data provided by our SMS platform
We do not require you to create an account. We do not collect financial or location data.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
Generate and deliver a response to the situation you describe
Send you occasional platform messages
Review aggregate, de-identified usage patterns to improve response quality
We do not use your information for advertising. We do not sell your information. We do not share individual message content with third parties except as described in Section 5.
3. What You Send Us
The value of Forged Method depends on you describing real situations honestly. Please understand:
Message content may include information about other people (managers, coworkers, clients). By sending that content, you are choosing to share it. We do not independently verify anything you tell us, and we do not contact the other parties involved.
We recommend avoiding full legal names or other identifying details about third parties where possible. You are responsible for the information you choose to include.
We may retain de-identified, aggregated message data to improve the quality and accuracy of future responses. We do not use your message content to build a public profile of you, and no message content is shared or sold for marketing purposes.
4. SMS Messaging
By subscribing, you consent to receive automated SMS messages from Forged Method, including responses to messages you send and occasional platform announcements. Standard message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages after that. Reply SUPPORT or email support@forgedmethod.com for help.
5. Third-Party Processing
We use third-party service providers — including SMS delivery infrastructure and AI language processing — to operate Forged Method. Message content you send may be processed by these providers in order to generate and deliver your response. These providers are contractually restricted from using your data for their own purposes. We are not responsible for the independent practices of third-party providers beyond our agreements with them.
6. Data Retention
We retain your phone number and message history for as long as your subscription is active, and for a limited period after opt-out to prevent unintended re-enrollment. You may request deletion of your data — including past message content — at any time.
7. Children
Forged Method is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete it promptly.
8. Your Rights
You may request to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or withdraw consent for SMS messaging, at any time. Contact support@forgedmethod.com. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Active subscribers will be notified via SMS before material changes take effect. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
